Products

Metal filter elements, built to your drawing.

Woven wire mesh, sintered fiber felt and sintered wire mesh, formed into the cylinder, pleat, disc or sheet your housing takes. Every element is welded and batch-tested in our own plant, and a replacement comes in 30–40% below the brand element it replaces.

  • Sintered fiber felt 0.5–50 μm
  • Sintered wire mesh 2–200 μm
  • Service up to ≤600 °C
  • 304 / 316L · titanium · nickel alloys

The Range

Three media, one manufacturing base

Which medium an element needs is a decision about the duty, not a preference. The table under each family is the short version; the section drawing shows what the wall of the element is made of.

Pleated sintered fiber felt cartridge, end caps welded — placeholder 560x360, to be replaced with the real photograph

Sintered fiber felt

Pleated and cylindrical felt elements

The finest medium we build with. Holds more contaminant than a woven mesh of the same rating, and can be washed and re-used instead of discarded.

Rigid multi-layer sintered wire mesh cylinder — placeholder 560x360, to be replaced with the real photograph

Sintered wire mesh

Rigid multi-layer mesh elements

Multi-layer mesh rolled and welded into a rigid element whose pore size holds through backwash and pulse-jet duty.

Filtration rating 2 – 200 μm
Form we build Cylinder · cone · disc · sheet

Woven wire mesh

Plain mesh off our own looms, formed into cylinders, discs and sheets — and used as the support layers inside the two above.

Sintered fiber felt

Pleated and cylindrical felt elements

Metal fiber felt is the finest medium we build with. The fiber mat holds more contaminant before the differential pressure climbs than a woven mesh of the same rating, and it can be washed and put back into service instead of being thrown away.

Filtration rating 0.5 – 50 μm
Media Sintered metal fiber felt
Maximum service temperature up to ≤600 °C

Made in our plant Forming, welding and batch testing
  • Fine-duty liquid and gas filtration

Where the contaminant is small and the element has to hold a great deal of it before the pressure drop becomes the limit.

  • Duty that is cleaned, not replaced

A felt element is washable and re-generable, which suits lines that clean elements on a schedule rather than discarding them.

  • High-temperature lines

The fiber structure holds to 600 °C, above the point where polymer and paper media are no longer an option.

Sintered wire mesh

Rigid multi-layer mesh elements

Multi-layer sintered mesh is rolled and welded into a rigid element whose pore size stays put. The woven layers come off our own looms, which is what lets us set the layer count and the weave instead of buying a finished cartridge.

Filtration rating 2 – 200 μm
Media Multi-layer sintered wire mesh
Maximum service temperature up to ≤600 °C
Alloys 304 · 316L · titanium · nickel alloys

Made in our plant Mesh woven on our own looms, then forming, welding and batch testing
  • Backwash and pulse-jet systems

A rigid element holds its shape through repeated cleaning cycles instead of collapsing or losing its rating.

  • High differential pressure

The support layers carry the mechanical load, so the rated mesh keeps its pore size in service.

  • Medium duty where strength matters

Where a 2–200 μm rating is enough and mechanical strength counts for more than dirt-holding capacity.

Section through the element wall Plain weave: the opening between the warp and the weft wires sets the rating, so it is the weave we quote against rather than a catalogue figure.

Woven wire mesh

Woven mesh cylinders, discs and sheets

Plain woven mesh, woven on our own looms and formed into the shape your housing needs. On its own it covers the coarser duties; inside our sintered elements the same mesh is the protection and the support layer.

Media Woven metal wire mesh, woven in house
Maximum service temperature up to ≤600 °C
Alloys 304 · 316L
Form we build Cylinder · disc · sheet · framed panel

  • Coarser filtration

Where the contaminant is large enough that a woven opening is the right rating and a fiber mat would be over-specified.

  • Protection and support layers

The same mesh sits over the felt and under the rated layer inside our sintered elements.

  • Flat and framed forms

Discs, sheets and framed panels for stacked or face-seal housings.

Forms

Four forms, and anything else your housing needs

The same medium can be formed into different shapes: rolling, pleating, discing, flanging and the welding route are all decided by the geometry in your drawing.

Cylindrical filter element, rolled and welded tube — placeholder 400x300, to be replaced with the real photograph
Cylindrical / tube Rolled and seam-welded, with end caps, threaded connections or flanges to your drawing.
Pleated filter element, close-up of the pleat pack — placeholder 400x300, to be replaced with the real photograph
Pleated Pleated to put more filtration area inside the same envelope, so the interval between cleanings gets longer.
Disc filter element, flat round plate — placeholder 400x300, to be replaced with the real photograph
Disc / plate Flat discs and plate elements for stacked and face-seal housings.
Flat filter sheet and framed panel — placeholder 400x300, to be replaced with the real photograph
Sheet / panel Flat mesh and felt panels, framed or unframed.

Cones, flanged cartridges and multi-element assemblies are built to drawing as well. Where a duty needs a form we cannot make, we say so during the review rather than after the order.

Media Compared

Which medium fits which duty

The published figures, side by side. Plain woven mesh has no catalogue micron range — the weave sets the opening, so it is quoted against your duty.

Ordering

Three ways an order reaches us

Whichever one you are in, an engineer reads it before a price is given. Nothing is quoted from a part number alone.

  • Replacement from a drawing or a part number

About 70% of our orders arrive this way. Send the drawing, the OEM number or a used element and we confirm the equivalent from dimensions, media and connection type before anything is quoted.

  • Designed from your operating conditions

About 30% of our work starts with no drawing at all. Temperature, medium, pressure and flow are enough for our engineers to select the media and issue a drawing for your approval.

  • OEM supply to an equipment builder

Elements built to a builder’s own drawing and part numbering, from a first sample through to repeat production batches.

Send your drawing, or your operating conditions.

A part number, a drawing or a used element is the fastest route to a quote. If you only have the process — temperature, medium, pressure, flow — our engineers select the medium and issue a drawing for approval before anything is sampled.
